A fire broke out Wednesday evening, around 10 p.m., in a warehouse at the Plaisance-du-Touch zoo, southwest of Toulouse. Thirty firefighters had to intervene. Several animal rescues have been carried out by zoo staff, supported by firefighters specializing in animal risk. By 11:15 p.m., the fire was under control. No animals or zoo staff were injured. The exact origin of the fire is not known.
