Finland is now the 31st member of NATO. A symbolic flag raising in front of the NATO headquarters in Brussels (Belgium). The Scandinavian country joins the Atlantic alliance, a direct consequence of the war in Ukraine. “President Putin wanted to slam the door of NATO and close it. Today we show the world that he failed. This intimidation and aggression does not work”said Jens Stoltenberg, Secretary General of NATO.

Dutch train crash kills

In the Netherlands, a spectacular train accident. On the morning of Tuesday April 4, a freight train hit a crane, causing a collision with a passenger train at The Hague. The crane operator died while around 30 passengers were injured. In Italy, child labor is singled out. Emma was only 12 when she started accompanying her mother to campsites.
