Emmanuel Macron published, Tuesday January 16, on his Franceinfo was able to consult the list of establishments and municipalities volunteering to set up the system.

Of the hundred establishments envisaged, around sixty have already been clearly identified: these are 39 schools, 11 middle schools and 10 high schools. The press service of the Élysée specifies that the others are being identified (around forty) in the municipalities which have applied. The map shared by the President of the Republic, Tuesday evening on X, is therefore awaiting clarification.

Cannes and Nice candidates, eight establishments in Aix-Marseille

While the map shared by Emmanuel Macron seems to group together numerous establishments in the south-east of France, the information communicated by the press service of the Élysée only mentions two candidate municipalities, Cannes and Nice. Without details, for the moment, on the establishment(s) concerned.

Also according to the press service of the Élysée, eight establishments of the Aix-Marseille academy are voluntary. There are also one or more establishments that the municipality of Carry-le-Rouet must identify.

Volunteers in the academies of Montpellier, Toulouse and Bordeaux

In the Montpellier academy, an elementary school from Béziers, a school from Pérols, one from La Grande-Motte and three schools from Perpignan are cited. The town of Beaucaire (Aude) should also offer one or more establishments.

The south-west of France seems to have little popularity, with only one establishment identified in the Pyrénnées-Atlantiques in Labastide-Monréjeau, in the Bordeaux academy. The municipalities of Balma (Haute-Garonne) and Vayrac (Lot) are candidates for the Toulouse academy.

Candidates in Brittany, the North and the East

A commune in Brittany is a candidate, same thing in Vendée. Three Nantes academy high schools have been identified, in Nantes, Laval and Saint-Calais.

The Lille academy currently has the most volunteers, with five schools in Tourcoing, two schools in Attiches and one in Denain. Le Touquet, Ambleteuse and Marck are also candidates.

In the Reims academy, five schools from Troyes and four schools from Reims should participate. In Moselle, the municipalities of Bouzonville, Florange and Metz are also voluntary, without further details on the establishments concerned.

Volunteers in the Paris region, not in Paris

According to documents provided by the Elysée press service, no Parisian establishment is willing to participate in the experiment. One school from Seine-et-Marne, six from Seine-Saint-Denis, as well as one or more establishments in the town of Voisenon (Seine-et-Marne) in the Créteil academy, should participate.

In the Amiens academy, several establishments from the departments of Aisne, Oise and Somme are candidates. These are the Amédée Ozenfant Patriotes, Metz and Buisson primary schools in Saint-Quentin, the François Truffaut high school in Beauvais, the Robert Desnos vocational high school in Crépy-en-Valois and the Jean-Charles Peltier vocational high school in Ham.

Overseas territories also affected

In the Overseas Territories, three colleges from Reunion Island, one college from Guyana, two middle schools and two high schools from Mayotte have been designated.
