The Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs face off Sunday night (6:30 p.m.) at State Farm Stadium in Glendale to determine which team will be crowned champions after a long season.

It is high time for the debate to be settled on the ground after long days of talking about the event. If you can’t wait any longer, know that neither are the two teams.

Slowly but surely, supporters of both teams are moving around the stadium. At a glance, it seems that those of the Eagles are more numerous. To be continued!

Even if the Chiefs and the Eagles lent themselves generously to the media contest all week in Phoenix, we feel that it is time to do battle. Just think of Chiefs head coach Andy Reid, who mentioned in his last press briefing on Thursday that he had to answer about 50 questions this week about his “dream cheeseburger.” Yes, it’s high time to jump into the field to stop the madness!

good stories

There will be a lot to get your teeth into in crispy stories. Speaking of Reid, he becomes only the fifth head coach to face his former team in the Super Bowl, he who led the Eagles from 1999 to 2012. Know that no driver has defeated his former team in the ultimate game since Jon Gruden with the Buccaneers, facing his former Raiders, 20 years ago.

There is of course the fact that for the first time, two brothers face each other. Eagles center Jason Kelce and his brother, Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, have been making a lot of noise about their family history in recent days.

Fond of quarterbacks, know that for the first time in the history of the Super Bowl, two black pivots clash, in Jalen Hurts and Patrick Mahomes.

Forces present

The Chiefs have had the best offense in the NFL this season with an average of 29.2 points scored per game. The Eagles are close behind, in third place, with an average of 28.1 points scored per game.

Defensively, however, the Eagles have the upper hand so far, ranking second in yards allowed, while the Chiefs are 11e rank.

Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs’ handyman, was voted most valuable player of the season on Thursday night. Is this a bad omen for the Chiefs? The last nine recipients of this honor who took part in the Super Bowl in the same year lost. He will try to break this trend.
