In a sign that times are changing, a prominent residence in Montreal’s Plateau-Mont-Royal district has finally sold for $1,930,000, more than $160,000 below the asking price a year ago.

Its owner, D.r Kuman Pavan, an anesthesiologist now residing in the municipality of Westmount, bought it in 2014 with his spouse, Dr.r Marie-Christine Ross-Huot, for $1,675,000.
This residence is a former commercial building located at 4623 Mentana Street. The building has been converted into a condominium with three floors, three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a sauna, a double garage and an interior courtyard.
