Taking its name from a great standard of jazz and American music, the Sunnyside festival 2022 promises its audience great (re)discoveries around jazz and Afro-American music. Seven days of celebration and conviviality, an ever more varied programme… all in Reims!
From October 10 to 16, Reims will become the city of jazz and Afro-American musicas part of the Sunnyside festival.
Around more than 25 concerts and several concert venuesthe Sunnyside festival will allow its festival-goers to (re)discover nuggets from elsewhere.
Organized by Jazzus Productions, this eclectic and atypical festival notably uses the two essential places in Reims for music that are the shed and cardboardto provide ideal listening locations.
Lots of activities
On the programming side, expect Cécile McLorin Salvant, Odibi, the art of patience, Pierre Boespflug solo, Theo Croker Quintet and Suzanne, in particular.
An Undercover exhibition, a vinyl and silkscreen stand, workshops or even Sunnykids with its program dedicated to young audiences, as well as awareness-raising actions will therefore take place throughout the festival.
