The Blues are announced as the favorites for the 2022 Six Nations Tournament.
Two days before starting the Six Nations Tournament against Italy, the XV of France left the military camp of Carpiagne (Bouches-du-Rhône) where it was preparing for this meeting, Friday February 4. On the program for the last hours under the Mediterranean sun: physics and more physics at high intensity.
“We have to be good in all the games, it’s very tight (…) whether it’s Italy, Wales, England, there’s not a game to leave next to, comments the performance director, Thibault Giroud. We have to be good from this weekend and we have to be able to maintain this intensity over nine weeks.”
Announced as favorites of the competition, the Blues intend to use this pressure to make it a force. Captain Antoine Dupont develops: “we have to take the good sides, ie the confidence that it can give us, the confidence in us, our working method and our results so far.”
