Composer of the soundtracks for a dizzying number of great cinema hits, German-American star Hans Zimmer will be in concert at the Bell Center in Montreal on September 17.
evenko made the announcement on Thursday, specifying that tickets will go on sale from Friday March 22.
This second tour by Hans Zimmer, entitled Hans Zimmer Live, toured all over Europe last year, sold out. It features two hours of new arrangements of some of Zimmer’s biggest hits, including those of Dune, The Lion King, The black Knight, Gladiator, Interstellar, Inception And The last Samourai.
For this tour, Hans Zimmer is accompanied by a group of 18 musicians and a full orchestra, which mixes “classical arrangements” and “electronic elements” on stage.
Nominated 12 times for the Academy Awards, Hans Zimmer twice won the Oscar for best film score for The Lion Kingin 1994, and for Dune, in 2021. The hyperactive composer has worked on more than 500 projects between the 1980s and today. He is also the one who wrote the music for Denis Villeneuve’s latest film, Dune: part two.
