A fight broke out after training at the Montpellier Hérault Sport Club (MHSC), Tuesday October 24 around 5:30 p.m. After a heated verbal exchange, central defender Mamadou Sakho physically attacked his coach, Michel Der Zakarian, France Bleu Hérault learned, confirming information from the newspaper The Team.

According to witnesses, contacted by France Bleu Hérault, the 33-year-old grabbed and sent his trainer to the ground. According to these same sources, players intervened to separate the two men.

An MHSC practice is scheduled for Wednesday at 10 a.m. Since August, Mamadou Sakho has only played six minutes in Ligue 1, and has only taken part in five championship matches, since the return of Michel Der Zakarian in February 2022, recalls France Bleu Hérault .
