A man in his mid-twenties was arrested after pepper spraying during a fight at the Berri-UQAM station on Wednesday noon.
The altercation occurred on a metro platform around 12:25 p.m. and several people were inconvenienced by the pepper spray, according to the SPVM.
One person was assessed by Urgences-santé, but no transport to a hospital center was required.
The individual who sprayed the substance was arrested by the police when they arrived on the scene.
The metro station was evacuated and service was interrupted on the yellow, orange and green lines until around 1 p.m.
