The 12and edition of the Festival Vues sur mer, held from March 31 to April 3 in Gaspé, will welcome Hugo Latulippe as guest of honor and president of the jury.

The filmmaker’s most recent film, the feature-length documentary I lift myself up, will be presented during the festival. The screening will be followed by an interview with Hugo Latulippe and artist-painter Stéphanie Robert, who co-signed the documentary.
Chairman of the board of directors of the Documentary Observatory from 2014 to 2019, Hugo Latulippe has directed and scripted numerous films that have won him around ten Gémeaux awards, a Jutra award and around twenty international awards.
As president of the jury this year, the guest of honor will be accompanied by jurors Danielle Bissonnette, Jonathan Desjarlais, Caroline Farley and Étienne Goudreau Lajeunesse.
The complete program of Vues sur mer will be unveiled on March 9.
