“The jury recognizes I lift myself up for its positive portrayal of the passion and hope expressed collectively by young performers and poets from all walks of life,” reads a press release.

Mr. Latulippe’s documentary (Bacon, the movie, Alpheus of the stars) questions how art can transform the world in a quest where politics and poetry intertwine. It brings to the screen the contribution of artists like Ariel Charest, Catherine Dorion, Sarah Montpetit, Elkahna Talbi, with texts by Marjolaine Beauchamp, Dany Boudreault, Mathieu Gosselin, Jean-Christophe Réhel, Rodney Saint-Éloi, Daria Colonna.
