Green Day will perform at Jean-Drapeau Park on August 3, a show that will mark the famous punk rock group’s very first appearance at the Osheaga Festival.
The Osheaga organization said it was “delighted” to announce this first headliner, promising nothing less than “an unforgettable evening of pure punk rock bliss.”
It’s been six years since Green Day last performed in Montreal. The last time, in 2017, the Bay Area trio performed to a sold-out crowd at the Bell Center.
Green Day’s visit to Osheaga is part of a world tour for their next and fourteenth album, Saviors, which will be released in January. The group has also launched a first singlelast week, The American Dream is Killing Me.
Tickets for the August 3 concert will be available on November 10, from 10 a.m., on the Osheaga website.
