Félix Auger-Aliassime defeats Taro Daniel and reaches the quarter-finals in Munich

Félix Auger-Aliassime easily disposed of the Japanese Taro Daniel 6-3, 6-2 at the Munich Tennis Open on Thursday, thereby obtaining his pass to the quarter-finals.

Auger-Aliassime, the fifth seed in the tournament, ended the duel against the 85th player in the world in one hour and 24 minutes on Bavarian clay. It was the first career match between the two tennis players.
