Felipe from Spain signs his big comeback, Letizia in total black look for a gala

Spain found its king on Monday! Placed in solitary confinement after being infected with Covid-19, Felipe VI resumed honoring his public commitments on February 21, 2021 by going to a gala with his wife, Queen Letizia. Dressed in a black suit, the 54-year-old king looked fine, fully recovered from the illness which had given him only mild symptoms.

His Majesty the King presented a positive result to the test for Covid-19 which he underwent this morning (Wednesday), after presenting mild symptoms last night., said its secretariat last week in a press release. “The general state of health of His Majesty the King is good and he will continue his institutional activity from his residence“.

To pay tribute to Antonio de Nebrija, he was of course accompanied by his wife, Letizia, who had not been affected by the disease. This one, absolutely stunning as always, wore a black Armani ruffled slit dress and black Prada pumps. Her hair, a little darker than usual, was swept over her shoulders for the perfect natural effect.

The couple finally wore a white mask and attended the entire evening, as restrictions in Spain are set to be eased. Wearing a mask outdoors, in particular, should be suspended during the week. The King had received his first dose of the vaccine in April when it was cleared for his age group, as had the Queen shortly after. No information was given later on the vaccination of the royal couple.

Felipe’s sisters, meanwhile, had been vaccinated in Abu Dhabi where their father, former King Juan Carlos, lives since 2019. Absent this Monday evening, the youngest daughter of Felipe VI and Letizia, Sofia, had also been tested negative for Covid-19 after her father was infected. His sister, Leonor, future queen of the country now lives in a boarding school in Wales where she is pursuing brilliant studies.

Completely recovered, the king of Spain will therefore be able to resume a normal life. Let’s hope the same goes for the Queen of England, who, at 95, is herself affected by a mild form of Covid-19.
