Feel the music of a concert through vibrant combinations

Deaf, hard of hearing and hearing people were able to feel the music of the “Tribute to Korea” concert, organized in New York, thanks to haptic combinations, as well as several bracelets.

Wearable technology, provided by the Music: Not Impossible company, translates sound to the skin as vibrations.

“For an orchestra, I’m going to put the violins at chest level and we’re going to put the cello and bass parts in the back, and then we’ll have some horns on the shoulders,” said Patrick Hanlon, head of audio and co-founder of Music: Not Impossible.

“This project was conceived and inspired by the deaf and hard of hearing community. But during the process, we realized that everyone wanted to use it,” adds Flavia Naslausky, Head of Business Development and Strategy for Music: Not Impossible.
