The members of the Loire Brigade, of which the victim was a member, wore a black t-shirt with the inscription “Maxime forever”, also worn by the Nantes players during the warm-up.
At the entrance of the two teams, a tifo “Max forever”, with the latter’s face, was deployed in the Loire stand, at the bottom of which two wreaths of flowers had been placed. Before the minute of silence, the twenty-two participants in the meeting entered the lawn to the sound of Rose Tattoo, music chosen by the family.
A text written by the victim’s relatives was read before the minute of silence, which was perfectly respected. At the 31st minute of play (31, like Maxime’s age), the whole stadium this time stood up to applaud, before the sport resumed its rights. “We want to pay tribute in our own way by having a great match” had also announced Jocelyn Gourvennec, the Nantes coach, at the microphone of Prime Video before the meeting.
