FC Metz loses its lead against En Avant Guingamp

A match with such a scenario, had St-Symphorien ever experienced one? A match interrupted in the second half, three Messins excludedlunar decision regarding Oukidja, two penalties whistled against the Garnets… in less than an hour!

The meeting was interrupted shortly before the hour mark following the entry onto the lawn of a young supporter from the lower north stand, to meet the referee. The latter, Peter Gaillouste crystallized tensions by excluding Alexandre Oukidja in stoppage time in the first period for a legitimate aerial outing. Small cause, big consequence since the penalty that ensued allowed Guingamp to equalize and come back in a game that got off to a bad start for the Bretons (3-3, 45th + 3).

It was because everything had started like a dream for Metz! On goal against his camp from Manceau who deflected a center from Maziz (2nd, 1-0) into his cage, the Guingampais Livolant responded by equalizing on a penalty conceded by Candé (8th, 1-1). But FC Metz had recovered in the right direction: Ablie Jallow scored twice by scoring with a header (10th, 2-1) then scoring a magnificent direct free kick (15th, 3-1).

But when FC Metz masters its matches, it knows very well put a spoke in the wheel itself and Kouyaté, for a very strong dispute which had no place to be, was directly excluded (31st). Pierre Gaillouste also, logically this time, sent a red card to Danley Jean-Jacques (55th). With a fine long shot, Dylan Louiserre made the inevitable a reality and scored the goal that allowed Guingamp to take the lead (3-4, 69th). The rest, even the goal of the player on loan from FC Metz, Warren Tchimbembé in the 85th minute, is anecdotal.
