FC Metz has its first recruit with Ismaël Traoré

FC Metz (finally) has its first recruit. Until now, the club at the Cross of Lorraine was only downsizing its workforce. He records, a week before the resumption of the Ligue 2 championship, the reinforcement of an experienced defender: the Ivorian Ismaël Traoréfree of any contract, has hired for 2 years with garnets.

Ismaël Traoré is 238 Ligue 1 matches and 220 Ligue 2 matches First with Sedan, then Brest, but especially with Angers where he played for 7 seasons in the top flight. The central defender was one of the pillars of the defense of Stéphane Moulin who had even promoted him to captain. But, less used last year by his successor Gérald Baticle, the SCO did not renew his contract and the Angevin adventure ended in a fishtail.

Traoré who also knew the Ivorian national team 19 times will have 36 years old in August. Colossus of 1.84 m, he imposes by his physique as much as by his charisma on the ground and outside. His successive coaches praise his ability to natural locker room leaderable to federate even the youngest.

Traoré therefore arrives in Moselle with the desire to bounce back and show that he is not finished for the high level. FC Metz needs it, because with the starting plethora of defense, already acted or to come, the rear base of Laszlo Boloni is still under construction.
