FB Gard Lozère Monday from 6 a.m. on board the new T2 line from Paloma to Carémeau to Nîmes

Nîmes connected by Trambus from East to West, via the station and the city center: this is the promise of the extended route of the T2 line, by Trambus. And here we go… starting this Monday, August 29! France Bleu Gard Lozère invites you to experience this moment which will revolutionize part of mobility in Nîmes, from 6am live with a special morning on board the trambus.

Piloted with the Transdev delegate, this new offer will optimize the network as closely as possible to mobility needs and attract new users “, underline Jean-Marc Campello, vice-president, delegate for mobility and transport infrastructure, and Claude de Girardi, member of the community office, delegate for road transport of urban and peri-urban passengers.

Nîmes Métropole relied on the data collected during the citizen consultation held at the start of 2022.

The Agglo’s Tango public transport network also incorporates numerous service and frequency improvements from August 29, including the following major novelties :

– Creation of 2 new trambus lines T3 & T4, and extension of the T2 line to Paloma

– Creation or strengthening of services to business areas: Saint-Césaire and Km Delta (including Local Youth Mission), Georges Besse, Grézan, Mas des Rosiers / Station Market in Nîmes, Tec area in Marguerittes

– Creation of services enhancing the central towns: inter-village shuttle linked to Marguerittes and Paloma (Correspondence with the municipalities located east of Marguerittes (Bezouce, Lédenon, Saint-Gervasy, Poulx, Sernhac, Cabrières).
