The driver of the bus involved in the accident which cost the life of a 14-year-old girl has been indicted for manslaughter. One of the survivors testifies on France 2.

On the night of Saturday March 2 to Sunday March 3, a teenage girl was killed in a bus accident. Back home in Andelys in Eure, the surviving children and families of victims were able to tell doctors and psychologists the drama they experienced. Two brothers, aged 16 and 8, got on the bus when, at 1:30 a.m., everything changed. “I was injured by the shards of glass, that’s all, so we put things into perspective and realize that we’re doing pretty well.”says one of the survivors.

The driver thinks he dozed off

Like the other injured, the young man was taken to hospital. Informed at 5 a.m., his mother immediately took the road to find her sons. The teenager who died in the accident will be buried Friday March 8. Indicted for homicide and involuntary injuries, the bus driver thinks he dozed off for a few fatal seconds.
