A young man in his twenties died Sunday morning on avenue de Fontcouverte in Avignon. He was in a car whose driver lost control at around 5:30 a.m. A 19-year-old young woman was seriously injured and transported to Avignon hospital by the SMUR.
The firefighters evoke an accident which would have occurred at great speed. Another occupant of this car, a young man of 19, is unharmed. He is heard by the police on the circumstances of the accident. Only one car was involved in this drama.
