To admire the creations of the Belgian artistic director of the Saint Laurent house, Anthony Vaccarello, many stars made the trip this Tuesday, September 27 to Paris, not far from the Eiffel Tower, as part of Fashion Week. Among the guests of this prestigious fashion show, Carla Bruni-Sarkozy distinguished herself with an elegant very split dress while Charlotte Gainsbourg played the daring card with a transparent outfit. Some personalities made the trip as a couple, while others preferred to pose solo with glamour, like Laeticia Hallyday.
Her lover Jalil Lespert having made the biopic on the legendary creator, he could have accompanied her, but it was ultimately alone that Laeticia Hallyday attended the Saint Laurent fashion show. Which did not prevent her from shining, dressed in a long dress with thin straps and very low-cut satin, highlighting her magnificent figure at 47 years old. The mother of Jade and Joy was a few days earlier in Brussels, taken by the great exhibition dedicated to the late Johnny.
Many personalities for the “refinement” of Anthony Vaccarello
Two beautiful love duos made a fine appearance for Saint Laurent: actress Elodie Bouchez and half of Daft Punk, Thomas Bangalter. If they did not pose together, faithful to their legendary discretion, they shone each on their side. Mathieu Kassovitz’s daughter, Carmen, chose to appear alongside comedian Vassili Schneider, brother of Niels. Fashion addicts, actresses Rossy de Palma, Zoe Kravitz and Béatrice Dalle are also part of the precious list of guests at the Saint Laurent fashion show.
For the spring-summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection, the Belgian designer of the French house Anthony Vaccarello, in search of “refinement”, is fascinated by this visual which had already been exploited several times by Yves Saint Lawrence. Long and often transparent dresses in jersey knit are worn as they are or are balanced with masculine pieces: wool coats with strong shoulders as well as bombers and leather trench coats.
Bottle green, ink, burgundy, mustard, caramel and the essential gold and black: the color palette is rich and sophisticated. The legs are bare, enhanced by sandals that underline the contrast with the monumental line of the coats. Pajama-inspired satin pieces bring casualness to the collection juxtaposed with a powerful effect of sculptural wooden accessories and gold jewelry. The scenography of the parade around the fountains, allowing the silhouettes to be observed from all angles, reveals the fragility of the bare backs and the power of the broad structured shoulders.
