“The principle is to prove to consumers that you can have a 100% festive meal in a short circuit”, proudly states Karyn Thiaudière, vice-president of the Chamber of Agriculture. Around it, around twenty meat stands, cheeses, breads, wines, ice creams… and above all hundreds of places around the large tables set up in the Lussac-les-Châteaux Fairgrounds, this Tuesday July 19.
The town hall volunteers are busy cooking hundreds of kilos of homemade fries. The restaurateurs took orders around the planchas to cook the meat brought by the inhabitants. “Every year, it puts a smile on our faces when we see it on our agenda”, Miguel smiled. He came from Mazerolles, a neighboring town, with these friends. Many families and tourists also meet to listen to the evening concert: the Poitevin Kitten-Kitten group.
Every summer, around sixty farmers’ markets are organized in Vienne and as many in Deux-Sèvres.
