Farmers dumped manure in front of the office of the rebellious MP for Creuse Catherine Couturier, in Guéret, on Wednesday January 24, reports the elected official on her X account (ex-Twitter). She posts several photos that show a tractor depositing packages of manure on the sidewalk in front of the building.
“Manure dumped in large quantities on the windows and the door of my office despite the light in the offices, signifying the presence of my team and preventing them from being able to leave freely”writes Catherine Couturier on X. The MP also notes “slurry dumped in the main street and in front of the prefecture with multiple damages” And “the N145 covered in agricultural waste”. France Bleu Creuse reports that 600 farmers and 300 tractors gathered in the center of Guéret this Wednesday after a snail operation.
