With the Covid-19 epidemic, farmers have seen the arrival of city dwellers, with whom they now live in the countryside. A clash of cultures that sometimes causes sparks.

It is a quiet village in the middle of the vineyards of Touraine. A young farmer raises old breed hens here in the open air. Poultry have become an object of contention. Gabriel Simon must soon move his hens to a field, because the owner of his current land wants to recover it. He therefore bought a hectare and a half to install 800 poultry there. Between the railway and the highway, it is the ideal place according to him. Today, however, there are no hens in his field.

The mayor indeed refuses to provide him with water and electricity, essential to install his poultry. The opponents are city dwellers who have a residence in the nearest hamlet, nearly 1 km away. They have never met the farmer, but have filed a petition against his breeding because they fear for their peace. Gabriel Simon has seized the administrative court, but the procedure promises to be long. He might have to stop his activity.
