Wake Up
In order to denounce deforestation, five environmental activists storm a big-box furniture store. However, one of the two security guards (Turlough Convery), a keen hunter, sets out to eliminate them one by one. In Wake Upthe fourth feature film by the RKSS trio, one of the activists announces that there will be blood. Well, a promise kept by Anouk Whissell, Yoann-Karl Whissell and François Simard. Of course, the hemoglobin level is perhaps lower than in Turbo Kid, Summer of 84 And We Are Zombiesbut the kills of this cruel and cynical survivalist slasher are just as spectacular.
