The parents and sister of Medhi Narjissi, a young Stade Toulousain hopeful who disappeared on August 7 in South Africa, have filed a complaint, France Bleu Occitanie has learned from the Agen public prosecutor’s office, confirming information from Sud Ouest.

The lawyer for the Narjissi family explains that the parents want the investigation to move forward quickly. Maître Edouard Martial specifies that the filing of a complaint will allow an investigation to be opened to find the causes of the disappearance as well as the hearing of the young players and the supervisors. “Nobody understands the decision to leave a bunch of kids on the most dangerous beach in Cape Town”says the lawyer.

The 17-year-old rugby player was swept away by a wave while swimming with his teammates, on the sidelines of a tour with the French under-18 team.
