Family doctors support the agreement reached with Quebec

The Federation of General Practitioners of Quebec (FMOQ) has just announced to its members that 3,664 family doctors have voted for the agreement in principle on access to primary care recently concluded with the Legault government. This represents 84.1% of participants in the advisory vote. The participation rate was 43%.

“Given the vote clearly in favor of the implementation of the agreement in principle, the Federation will continue the work in this direction”, is it written in the email sent to the members.

The tentative agreement aims for 500,000 orphan patients to be cared for by a group of family physicians by March 31, 2023.

Physicians’ participation in the measures of the agreement in principle is voluntary.

More details will come.
