In Côte-d’Or, near Dijon, emotions ran high on Monday March 18 at the resumption of classes at Chenôve college, where the principal was threatened by a student with a knife.
Despite the shock, they are back at their school. Some middle school students were present on Friday March 15, when a 3rd grade student, excluded from an English class, entered a middle school in Chenôve (Côte-d’Or) and threatened the principal with a knife . He did not hurt her, but this Monday, March 18, the students did not hide their concern.
A psychological cell was opened
The alleged attacker was indicted and placed in pre-trial detention. Around the establishment, reinforced security measures have been put in place. A psychological unit was opened this Monday. The educational staff also promises to support the adolescents. The Minister of National Education also went there to provide support to the principal of the college.
