Almost a year after his second place which almost sealed his title of world champion, the French rider (Yamaha) returns to the Grand Prix of San Marino, Sunday September 5 at 2 p.m.
But the mission promises to be difficult for the Niçois on the Misano circuit. Quartararo, leader of the world championship, only achieved the eighth fastest time on Saturday in qualifying, and will therefore start on the third row on Sunday, behind Bagnaia, one of his big rivals in the general standings.
