Season 13 of “Dancing with the Stars” was marked by a real scandal. A conflict between Inès Reg and Natasha St-Pier caused a lot of noise and it all started on March 21 when the newspaper Le Parisien revealed that a heated altercation had broken out between the two candidates. We thus learned that the singer went so far as to file a complaint against the comedian.
Following this, Inès Reg spoke on Sunday March 31 on Instagram to reveal what she thinks happened. The comedian explains having been insulted by the singer during a rehearsal session, after she came to ask him to turn down the music… After receiving a message of apology the same evening, Inès Reg would have tried not to not make waves and would have fallen from a height to learn that Natasha St-Pier had filed a complaint when it was she who was at the origin of the insults…”I was only a victim in the story. But it was me who ate the wave of hatred” recalled Inès Reg.
Very quickly, Natasha St-Pier responded to give her version of the facts. She claims to have simply made a joke and then received a flood of insults from the comedian… Enough to sow doubt in the heads of viewers who are now demanding the video of their altercation since everything would have been filmed .
Inès Reg and Natasha St-Pier quarrel: Chris Marques gets involved
If presenter Camille Combal tried to calm the situation by asking for a return to pure entertainment, today it is the turn of Chris Marques to speak on the subject. The emblematic member of the jury spoke in the columns of Télé Star this Thursday, April 4, 2024.It wasn’t a hit at all. The show is there to make people dream, not to re-anchor them in human relationships.” he first declared.
A professional dancer by profession, Chris Marques concedes that participants can sometimes be under tension because of the fast pace of rehearsals and because of the stress linked to their desire to do well. “There are always failures, our artists are subjected to hours of dancing and interviews. It’s normal for things to get heated from time to time…”. And to add: “There’s nothing bad about it but we’re no longer selling dreams, it’s better to forget and move on.”
