Thursday, August 4, dozens of employees were able to return to their jobs at the Seveso-classified factory in Bergerac. Four of them, slightly injured, are still under observation.
Following the explosion in a Seveso factory in Bergerac (Dordogne), Wednesday August 3, employees were able to return to work the next day. On site, Nicolas Fleury takes stock of the situation. “Since this morning, several dozen have returned to this factory to resume their jobs. Of course, many are in a state of shock, because some here have witnessed these explosions. A psychological cell has therefore been set up accompany them”he explains.
However, the factory has not yet been able to regain all of its employees and activities. “Part of the site is still not accessible, sealed for the time of the investigation. And then relatively reassuring news, first of this seriously injured employee. Today, his life is no longer in danger. There are therefore seven minor injuries left. This evening, we know that three of them were able to leave the hospital. There are therefore still four under observation.”concludes Nicolas Fleury.
