The energy crisis promises to be the priority issue for the start of the school year. The ministers met in a seminar on Wednesday, August 31, around the president and the Prime Minister to prepare the major projects to come.
This government seminar was led by the President of the Republic himself. Emmanuel Macron encouraged his ministers to continue the actions initiated since the presidential election, without becoming managers. There are many projects in this new school year: purchasing power, employment, equal opportunities and, at the top of the pile, the energy crisis and ecological planning.
“We will prepare an action plan to mitigate and adapt to the effects of climate change. […] We agreed that government teams and 25,000 state executives would be trained in ecological transition“, declared the Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne after this seminar. Three texts will be presented during the month of September in the Council of Ministers: one on the development of renewable energies, a bill of orientation and programming of the Ministry of the Interior and a text on unemployment insurance.
