The Minister Delegate for Industry affirmed that the president would not make “big debates”, as during the crisis of “yellow vests”.

How does the executive intend to get out of the challenge to the pension reform? The Minister Delegate for Industry, Roland Lescure, affirmed Sunday April 23 in the program “Sunday in politics” of France 3, that if Emmanuel Macron would not make “great debates”as during the crisis of the “yellow vests”, he would launch into “little debates”, like his recent trips to Bas-Rhin or Hérault.

“He is on the ground, he talks with people”, estimated the minister, who noted that“once the pots go out, there are people (…) who are ready to exchange with him”. “I think he will continue to do so both to convince but (…) above all to project us into the future”he argued, while several trips by the Head of State and ministers have been disrupted in recent days by demonstrations.

According to Roland Lescure, “two extremely important subjects” have “emerged” of this crisis: “difficulty” at work and “the institutions”. “We had planned to treat them afterwards”, but they “came back to us as an absolute emergency”he observed.
