“We see, as always, that small schemes of political apparatuses are trying to steal the French people’s victory”denounced Fabrice Leggeri, MEP for the National Rally, on franceinfo on Monday July 1, the day after the first round of the legislative elections. According to the latest results, the National Rally and its allies came out on top in this election (33.13%), followed by the New Popular Front (27.99%).
Faced with this unprecedented wave of navy blue, several parties and political figures are calling for a blockade of the far right, giving voting instructions and calling for candidates who came in third place to withdraw.
