Laetitia Casta was interviewed regarding the remarks about her physique that she endured for a long time, and particularly when she was a young adult starting out in the modeling and acting industry.
Indeed, the journalists notably referred to a program with Thierry Ardisson dating from 1999 during which the host spoke of her in the third person, as if she were not there, while evoking her measurements with his columnists.
“I feel like I’m at the market there. It’s crazy”, she said on set, already surprised at the time that her body was the subject of a debate in her presence. A painful experience on which Laetitia Casta returned on the airwaves of RTL.
“I try to remain dignified, you know, like when you say to yourself ‘not even bad'”, she declared. And to confide that these inappropriate questions had often not been without repercussions for the people who asked them.
“Afterwards, it happened to me many times that I broke the interviewers’ little recorders as soon as someone spoke to me about measurements, many times, some left with the broken device,” she confided without mentioning Audrey Crespo-Mara’s half.

A fighter
Sexist thoughts that shaped the character of the 45-year-old woman. “Subsequently, I became quite a fighter and therefore a little aggressive and on the sets too. There was a sort of build that developed and over time, I had to get rid of it to really find the essence of who I was as a person”, concluded Laetitia Casta.
