“Exploited candidates”, “what I say will be cut”, Dove Attia invited to the “Star Academy” castle lets loose

For many years, he officiated on M6. Alongside Marianne James, Manu Katché, and André Manoukian, Dove Attia was able to unearth many talents. In addition to having officiated as a member of the jury of the New Star from 2003 to 2007, he is best known for producing hit musicals such as The Ten Commandments, Gone with the Windor The sun King. The latter allowing Emmanuel Moire and Christophe Maé to really make themselves known to the general public.

Several years later, Dove Attia came back in a TV hook in an ephemeral way. Indeed, NRJ12 called on him in 2013 when the channel tried to relaunch the

Star Academy . For one evening, the producer sat in the jury chair to intervene as “professional of the week” and name the best student in the prime. Since then, no more intervention in a tele-hook until Thursday January 25, 2024.

Dove Attia arrives at Star Academy and makes some revelations

Indeed, André Manoukian’s sidekick at the time of The New Starwas invited to the Château de Dammarie-les-Lys this Thursday to discuss with Julien, Pierre, and Héléna, the last three candidates of the star Academy. In addition to giving valuable advice for managing their future notoriety and their career in general, Dove Attia also took advantage of his arrival to make some revelations that no one expected.

“In the old Star Ac we imposed a single on the candidates because we had to exploit their media coverage”he blurted out at first before realizing: “What I say will be cut”. But the live ultimately did not cut off his remarks and allowed us to hear the rest of the producer’s revelations: “We’re going to look for the hit makers but it’s one time in 100. And it hasn’t worked apart from a few who can be counted on the tips of your fingers”. According to him, the way “to exploit” the media coverage of academicians has changed today and that seems to delight him.
