Coachella has become a very trendy festival in recent years. Many influencers go there to take photos of themselves. The opportunity to recall the rock origins of Coachella, created in the early 90s, before the festival no longer turned to hip-hop for around ten years.

Very high prices

The first tickets are $500 for the weekend. That’s a little over 450 euros. You must then add the ancillary costs. If you take the shuttle to take you to the desert, it’s a hundred euros more. The same for camping, there are supplements depending on the level of comfort. LThe highest prices go up to 10,000 euros, at this price you have access to the VIP areas, you also have a golf cart, and even air-conditioned toilets. These very high prices make Coachella one of the most profitable festivals in the world.

The owner of Coachella is Philip Anschutz, un billionaire whose positions are often contrary to the progressive values ​​of his festival. Indeed, the rich American, close to Donald Trump, financed conservative anti-LGBT organizations for several years.
