The elected in Vaudreuil since 2014 issued a brief press release Friday, 24 hours after her expulsion from caucus due to a conflict with her leader Dominique Anglade. She intends to remain a member and sit as an independent.

“On October 3, the citizens of Vaudreuil honored me with their confidence for the third time. I want to reassure them of my intentions to remain their MP and to defend their interests, as I have always done. Nothing will change for them in terms of the energy my team puts into serving them, my presence in the field or in the National Assembly where I will use all the means at my disposal to make their voices heard,” she.
