exit “Numbers and letters”, they join TF1 and Jean-Luc Reichmann!

It’s several years of good and loyal service that almost went up in smoke on August 22nd. Present alongside Laurent Romejko for almost always, Arielle Boulin-Prat and Bertrand Renard were thanked by France Televisionsand kicked out of the show Numbers and letters. The duo announced the bad news to their community through a press release filled with emotion, but also with anger.

“In short, far from wanting to leave or quit the show, it is France Télévisions where we have worked for so long that chooses to separate from us, to act alone on a break that has never been asked of it”announced Arielle Boulin-Prat and Bertrand Renard to make it clear that the choice did not come from them, quite the contrary, before adding: “We did not refuse the supposed new version of the game, since it was never presented to us. What is modestly referred to as a contractual disagreement arose because France Télévisions demanded a reduction in our salary of the order of 60% and refused to grant us the CDI that we had the audacity to claim”.

Will Jean-Luc Reichmann give them a chance?

Since then, the duo has not reappeared on television. Or rather, hasn’t signed anything for a new game or a cultural program yet. Nevertheless, TF1 seems to have the objective of giving them a chance to, why not, accompany Jean-Luc Reichmann to the presentation of the 12 strokes of noon. We are still far from it but Arielle Boulin-Prat and Bertrand Renard were still invited by the host in the famous midday game of the first channel.

Indeed, the companion of Nathalie Lecoultre made them come on set this Monday, December 5. “Today we welcome the excellent Arielle Boulin-Prat and Bertrand Renard! I am very very happy to have you! With what happened to you, I found it unfair. But at the same time it is part of the life of our professions…” first launched Jean-Luc Reichmann before asking them how they were doing. What the two ex-members of the show Numbers and letters ensured that they were not going “not too bad”. They put it into perspective and explained that there was “worse” and “people live in much worse situations” than them.
