Wejdene made “Dance with the Stars” history by becoming the youngest contestant on the program. But after six weeks, the 17-year-old singer was unexpectedly knocked out of the competition. This Friday, October 22, 2021, the interpreter of the tube “Anissa” was indeed sent to “Face to face” … where she found herself against Lucie Lucas. After a second dance, the jury finally decided to draft the actress from the series “Clem” and Wejdene was ousted.
Wejdene asked to leave the program
According to our exclusive information, this elimination is quite simply the result of a request from the young woman: Wejdene would have asked the production to leave the program, which would explain the choice (therefore oriented) of the jury. As noted during the debrief presented by Karine Ferri, the singer was exhausted. The very sustained rhythm of the repetitions would have got the better of her state of health and she thus became unable to keep up.
Another surprising point, Wejdene would have been furious not to be part of the “favorites”: according to her, Tayc and Bilal Hassani in particular are much more highlighted…. what she would not have endured over the weeks.
A quarrel with his dancer?
On Twitter, viewers noticed that during this bonus on October 22, the singer was elsewhere and spent a lot of time on her phone than on the scoreboard… Others also noticed that she seemed to be fleeing his dancer, Samuel Texier, avoiding to sit at his side. As Internet users have also pointed out, Wejdene followed his partner on Instagram a few days ago… which is no longer the case today. Simple sorting in its subscribers or real confusion? Nothing is less sure !
So many reasons that pushed the 17-year-old singer to quit the competition after six weeks of frenzied dancing. As a reminder, Wejdene was paid between € 60,000 and € 80,000 for its participation in the flagship TF1 show.
