Artus describes Duels à Davidéjonatown as “a bit of a crazy western.” While promoting the animated film Croquette, he shared that he envisions a quirky western in the comedic style of Mel Brooks. “I’m in the process of writing it. I don’t have a cast yet, and the story is still a work in progress, but I’m passionate about exploring a rarely seen universe. I dream of creating a film reminiscent of Mel Brooks’ work, like The Sheriff is in Jail. There’s a 90% chance that this film will come to fruition,” he revealed.

Even though the cast is not finalized, Artus hinted at including familiar faces from Un P’tit truc en plus, stating, “You will all be in the next one! There will definitely be a little nod to the original cast,” he mentioned during an interaction with Le Parisien.
