It’s the start of the February holidays, some of you have arrived in the mountains after a rather long journey due to traffic jams. A quickly forgotten galley with exceptional conditions. Sun and powder are at the rendezvous in the ski resorts, which are sold out.

Tourists arrived in Saint-François-Longchamp (Savoie) reassured that they could put their skis on. Some come from afar, like a large family, from Nantes (Loire-Atlantique). After a blank year, the return of the ski lifts is more than appreciated. The resort remains very family-friendly, with slopes reserved for children or complete beginners.

The ESF regularly reminds us of the safety instructions, but for the next four weeks, it will be difficult or even impossible to find a lesson. “All morning classes are full”, says Sandra Pellissier, ESF director of Saint-François-Longchamp. The resort’s booking rates are at record highs. 2022 will go down in history. “We are approaching the February holidays with an occupancy rate of more than 90% for the four weeks”says Nicolas Colombani, director of the ski area.
