Exceptional cakes

At weddings, everyone looks forward to the centerpiece of the meal: the famous wedding cake. Everyone goes there from their wonder or their disappointment. As for birthdays, baptisms and other communions, pastries adorn themselves with their finest finery.

These exceptional cakes make young and old dream. Still spectacularthey are made to celebrate all the happy events of life.

Originally, as always in gastronomy, great French chefs played their unparalleled know-how and centuries of testing to perfect these recipes which are as much about architecture as about pastry, and probably also about magic !

In this show of The gourmet stage dedicated to exceptional cakes, Nathalie Helal invited three top pastry chefs:

  • Bastien Blanc-Tailor is recognized as one of the best pastry chefs of wedding cakes in France and in Europe, and in his Parisian workshop, he makes bespoke wedding cakes by hand;
  • Arnaud Lahrer is a pastry chef, best worker in France, owner of three shops in Paris;
  • Claire Heitzler is a committed pastry chef, recipient of numerous awards, who opened her online pastry shop called Claire Heitzler & Producers as well as a workshop in Levallois-Perret (Hauts-de-Seine).
