Orenthal James Simpson, aka OJ Simpson, was an American football superstar. He died on Thursday April 11. His life was turned upside down on June 12, 1994, when his ex-wife Nicole Brown and one of her friends were brutally murdered at their home in Los Angeles, in the United States. OJ Simpson’s blood is found at the crime scene, and he promises to turn himself in to the police. But he finally flees by car, in front of cameras across the country.
A trial that divides the country
He was finally arrested, and his trial fascinated and divided the United States. The black population is convinced of his innocence, while the white community believes him guilty. The trial reveals a violent man, who beat and terrorized his companions. He is acquitted. But three years later, OJ Simpson was finally found responsible for these two deaths during a civil trial, before spending several years in prison for an armed robbery.
