Everywhere in Quebec | The Sharing Club officially launched

While nearly 2,000 people have been able to try out the beta version over the past few months, the Sharing Club mobile application is officially launched this week, which allows objects to be loaned between neighbors or colleagues. .

Camping equipment, bike racks, waffle irons, tools: the objects offered on loan are diversified.

The annual subscription costs $60, but a three-month free trial period is offered. Two municipalities, Crabtree and Prévost, offer reduced-rate passes to their citizens, as do some companies that offer them to their employees.

The movement could quickly gain momentum. Fifteen cities have shown their interest and are in discussion with the Sharing Club, says its founder, Fauve Doucet.
