“Everything smiles on us” by Melissa Drigeard, a comedy carried by Elsa Zylberstein and Stéphane De Groodt

After “Never the first evening”, Mélissa Drigeard unveils her second feature film whose release has been postponed due to the health crisis.

A film which has meanwhile received 3 prizes at the Alpe d’Huez International Comedy Festival 2020: the two interpretation and that of the jury.

The film tells the story of Audrey and Jérôme who smiles at all. They have three wonderful children and they are passionate about their jobs. But for a weekend, they each go their own way … with their respective lovers. Except that they have the same idea: to go to their country house.

When they come face to face, it’s the explosion. Audrey’s parents arrive, then their children and finally her sister. The quartet has no choice but to act to keep up appearances. But very quickly the varnish and the nerves crack …
