A clash of the titans. The semi-final return between Real Madrid and Bayern Munich, two of the three most successful clubs in the Champions League (14 coronations for the Spaniards, six for the Germans), is a real final before its time, Wednesday May 8 . Eight days after a thrilling first leg match ended in a draw (2-2), these two giants of European football meet on the pitch of the Santiago Bernabeu stadium to snatch a place in the final against Dortmund, who defeated PSG on Tuesday evening. Already crowned champion of Spain, Real Madrid is moving forward with the force of habit.
Over the last ten seasons, the Madrid club has won five Champions Leagues, the last dating from 2022. Opposite, Bayern Munich is also a regular at these high continental levels, with three coronations in C1 in the 21st century (2001, 2013 , 2020).
