With the Enfoirés concerts, “everything is oversized, it’s really exceptional”, confides David Moison, director of the Arkéa Arena in Bordeaux, guest of France Bleu Gironde on Wednesday January 17 on the occasion of the launch of the Enfoirés concerts.

Wednesday evening, 50,000 spectators are expected for the show to benefit Restos du Cœur. All tickets have been sold. David Moison already hosted the Enfoirés in 2019. This time again, “everything is oversized, it’s really exceptional compared to what we’re used to encountering, he explains. A lot of people are there to work, we have had around 200 people on site for more than a week, a lot of artists with a host of very well-known artists, it’s all these things that make the Enfoirés like a unique event in our programming and in our year”.

An expected surprise

Around fifty artists should be present. “In the best case scenario, we have 10 artists in shows like Stars 80, there we have 50 artists to welcome in a qualitative way, so that they feel comfortable, many more technicians than usual, sound engineers, lighting engineers, technical directors, so there are a lot of people, we had to push the walls a bit”, recognizes David Moison.

The show is filmed for TF1 which will broadcast the concert later. The scene was custom created and made “almost double the usual scene”it was necessary “create all the sets on site, all the logistical aspects to manage and create a TV studio in this room. There was a bit of work but everything went well. The premiere this evening is going to go well”assures the director.

This first concert on Wednesday evening will be the dress rehearsal session. But all the artists will be there. “The show will be there”, promises David Moison. The names of the artists present from Wednesday evening “is a secret that the Enfoirés want to keep as long as possible. Afterwards, the vast majority of the usual artists will be present and every year we expect a few surprises and there will be another surprise this year”, he predicts without revealing more.

“There is a real summer camp atmosphere, and a real closeness between the artists and the technical teams. Everyone eats together.”
